Entrapment place
Urban Design Guidelines for Victoria, published by The State of Victoria Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning in 2017 suggests that entrapment places are : ‘Small confined areas, shielded on three sides by some sort of barrier that may be used by criminal offenders to trap potential victims or to conceal themselves. The area may be poorly lit, have limited sightlines and have no possible escape route.’
